Babes, bikinis, and dark wizardry are afoot at Silksand Beach. Two of those things Vincent is fine with. The third one? Not so much.

The world of magical insurance agencies isn't a particularly compassionate one. Sure, the pay is stable and the job is good, but it's not the most rewarding way to put a wizard education to use. Add to that a corrupt boss liable to get the whole branch in trouble and you've got a recipe for a sudden resume update.

Vincent never thought he'd get a job as a Beach Battlemage, keeping the peace, patrolling the sands, protecting the resort from the occasional monster incursion. It sounded like the stuff of dreams, literally too good to be true, but he found a gig pretty much exactly along those lines.

Before he can rest on his laurels and soak up the sun with a particularly beautiful half-pegasus cutie, it turns out the last Battlemage left the beach with a few... issues to deal with. Between marauding goblins, weird changes in the weather, and more mystery than you can shake a sun tanning lotion bottle at, Vin has got his hands full. But thanks to his new companions, the aforementioned pegasus and a beautiful elven archer, not to mention a veritable dude known only as "The Scott," he doesn't have to face it on his own.
