This page exists so the site has somewhere to link to during the preview period. Final terms will be drafted with counsel and published before public launch. The summary below describes what we expect the binding terms to say in plain English — it is not a substitute for the final document. Questions in the meantime go to /contact.
You must be at least 13 to create an account, and 18 to access 18+-rated titles. One person per account; sharing credentials with others isn't allowed. We may suspend accounts that attempt to evade the age gate or share access at scale.
When you buy an audiobook (à la carte or with a subscription credit), you get a permanent personal license to stream it from your Siren.Audio library and, where supported, download it for personal offline listening. You don't own the audio file itself, and you may not redistribute, resell, or use the content for commercial purposes.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown when you signed up. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancel before the next billing date to avoid that charge. Credits earned during an active subscription do not expire as long as the subscription stays active; if you cancel, any unredeemed credits stay usable for 12 months. Audiobooks you already acquired through credits stay in your library forever.
We'll refund any purchase within 14 days as long as you've listened to less than ~30 minutes of the title. After that, refunds are case-by-case — contact us. Subscription refunds follow the same window and don't roll back credits already spent on permanent purchases.
If you sign up as a creator or publisher, you grant us a non-exclusive license to stream your audio to listeners who buy it, generate cover artwork previews, surface metadata (title, description, narrators, genre) on the storefront, and handle payouts in line with the agreed royalty split. You retain all copyright in your underlying work. Submitting content you don't have the right to distribute violates these terms and triggers takedown. Misclassifying explicit content as clean is grounds for rejection at review and repeat violations can suspend the seller account.
You can close your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we have a reasonable basis to believe pose a risk to other users or to the platform. On termination, your existing purchased library access ends.
The platform is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee uptime or that every feature works on every device. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid in the 12 months prior to a dispute. Statutory consumer rights aren't affected.
We may update these terms. Material changes get a notice on this page and (for significant updates) by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the new terms.
Reach us at /contact with any questions about these terms or about your account.
